# HubSpot: List contacts for associated companies researching your product category recently

Because G2 Buyer Intent signals are captured at the company level, all contacts associated with the company in the signal are included in this list. Inclusion in this list does not mean a specific contact generated the corresponding Buyer Intent signal.

This example list includes all contacts for companies that viewed a G2 category page that includes your product in the past 30 days.

G2 categorizes products based on a number of factors, including use case and functionality. Similar products are grouped together on G2 category pages and your product might exist in multiple product categories.

This type of Buyer Intent signal can indicate a buyer is performing initial research to determine the products available to them. G2 recommends using these signals to target these buyers with more general knowledge about your product and the product category.

Refer to the [HubSpot emails with G2 marketing content](/g2/docs/hubspot-emails-with-g2-marketing-content) documentation to target this list with an email featuring G2 marketing content.

To build this list:

1. In HubSpot, navigate to **Contacts** > **Lists**.
2. Select **Create list** to enter the *Create a list* editor.
3. Select **Contact-based**, enter a **List name**, then select **Active list** or **Static list**.

For more information on the differences between active and static lists, refer to HubSpot’s [Differences between saved views, active lists, and static lists](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/lists/what-is-the-difference-between-saved-filters-smart-lists-and-static-lists) documentation.

1. Select **Next** to begin adding filters to your new list.
2. Select **Add filter**.
3. Search for and select **G2**, then select **G2: Buyer Intent Details Contact properties**.
4. Select **Page Description**.
5. Change **is equal to any of** to **contains any of**, then enter **category** in the text field.

(Optional) If your product is included in multiple categories, you can further refine your list to only include a certain product category.

To filter for a specific category:

1. Select **Add filter**.
2. Search for and select **G2**, then select **G2: Buyer Intent Details Contact properties**.
3. Select **Page Description**.
4. Change **is equal to any of** to **contains any of**, then enter the name of your product category in the text field. Your entry must exactly match the name in the Buyer Intent signal.

1. Select **Save list**.

Your HubSpot list might need time to process depending on the quantity of G2 Buyer Intent data available in your HubSpot environment.
