# Marketo: List associated companies assessing product alternatives

This example smart list shows associated companies that have viewed a G2 product alternatives page for a product in a shared category.

G2 alternatives pages list alternatives to the featured product. This activity indicates that the buyer is seeking alternatives for a product in your category, but your product is not necessarily being compared directly.

As G2 Buyer Intent signals are mapped to all people across an associated company, using this example list for a smart campaign will result in all people across a company being affected.

The G2 Buyer Intent signals available to this integration depend on your G2 plan.

Refer to [G2’s plan information](https://sell.g2.com/plans) and contact your G2 representative to learn more.

To build this smart list:

1. Go to your Marketo instance, and then select **Database**.
2. Open the **New** dropdown, then select **New Smart List**.
3. In the *New Smart List* pop-up window, choose a folder and enter a name for the smart list. We suggest including a description with details of the filters used to create the smart list.
4. Select **Create** to move to the **Smart List** tab.
5. Search for the **G2 Pages Viewed** filter. Select and drag it to the smart list canvas.
6. Select **contains** and enter **alternative** in the text field.

1. The smart list auto-saves. Select the **People** tab to view the associated companies that meet the filter criteria.

Your HubSpot smart list might need time to process depending on the quantity of G2 Buyer Intent data available in your Marketo instance.
