# G2 custom objects and fields

The G2 CRM Connector comes with 13 custom objects. These custom objects are essentially collections of fields (and relationships), and each of those fields represents a data point.

For instance, the G2 Events tab is actually a pre-built, customizable view of the data that is delivered to the G2 Event custom object. The same is true of the other core tabs included with the G2 CRM Connector.

By understanding the fields that are included in the G2 custom objects, you can better understand how those fields can be used when placing related lists in Salesforce page layouts, creating custom Salesforce reports, and creating Salesforce notifications.
