# HubSpot: Companies researching competitor products recently

This example list includes companies that have researched competitor products on G2.

Refer to the [HubSpot emails with G2 marketing content](https://documentation.g2.com/docs/hubspot-emails-with-g2-marketing-content) documentation to target this list with a campaign highlighting your product’s differentiation.

To build this list:

1. In HubSpot, navigate to **Contacts** > **Lists**.
2. Select **Create list** to enter the *Create a list* editor.
3. Select **Company-based**, enter a *List name*, then select **Active list** or **Static list**.

For more information on the differences between active and static lists, refer to HubSpot’s Differences between saved views, active lists, and static lists(https://knowledge.hubspot.com/lists/what-is-the-difference-between-saved-filters-smart-lists-and-static-lists) documentation.

1. Select **Next** to begin adding filters to your new list.
2. Select **Add filter**, then select **Company properties**.
3. Search for and select **G2 Related Products**.
4. Change the operator to **contains any of**, then enter the competitor product you want to identify (for example, Apollo.io).
5. (Optional) Add another filter for **G2 Related Products Details** to refine the list by activity type, such as profile views, comparisons, or alternatives pageviews.

You can combine **G2 Related Products** with **G2 Buyer Intent Details** to identify accounts that researched both your product and competitor products. This helps you pinpoint buyers in active comparison stages.

1. Select **Save list**.

Use **G2 Related Products** for broad identification of accounts researching competitors. Add **G2 Related Products Details** when you need more context about the competitive activity, such as comparisons or alternatives pageviews.
