# Marketo emails with G2 marketing content

Adding [G2 Badges](https://documentation.g2.com/docs/g2-badges) and [Star Rating widgets](https://documentation.g2.com/docs/widgets#star-rating-widget) to Marketo emails enables you to highlight your G2 reviews and drive review generation efforts.

## Before getting started

Before proceeding with the following steps, make sure you have the embed code for the G2 Badge or Star Rating widget you want to add to your email.

To access G2 Badge embed codes, go to [my.G2](https://my.g2.com/~/badges), then **Marketing Content** > **G2 Badges**.

To access Star Rating widget embed codes, go to [my.G2](https://my.g2.com/~/widgets/star_rating_widgets), then **Marketing Content** > **Widgets** > **Star Rating Widget**.

## Embedding G2 marketing content in Marketo emails

To add G2 Badges or Star Rating widget to Marketo emails:

1. Log in to Marketo, then select **Design Studio**.
2. Select an existing email, or create one by selecting **Email actions** > **New email**.
3. Select the **Modules** tab, then select and drag a **Text** module to your canvas.
4. In the canvas, select the text module, then select the text area to reveal the *Settings* icon.
5. Select **Settings** > **Edit** to access the text editor.
6. From the toolbar, select **Edit HTML** to access the *HTML Source Editor*.
7. Paste your embed code from my.G2, then select **Apply**. Your text module preview will update immediately.
8. Select **Save** to add the G2 Badge or Star Rating widget to your email draft.
