For more information, refer to the [Adding AI Sales Agent to your website](/docs/monty-for-sales#adding-AI-Sales-Agent-to-your-website) section. ### Conversion and performance AI Sales Agent's goal is to educate, prequalify, and encourage buyers to take a next step, such as booking a demo. G2 offers two options for conversion: - *Custom URL*: Send qualified buyers to a landing page on your website. To set a custom conversion URL, refer to the [Customization](/docs/monty-for-sales#3-optional-customize-AI-Sales-Agent) section. - *Integrated G2 lead form*: AI Sales Agent displays your G2 lead form directly in the chat interface, which will follow the same routing, webhook, and notification logic as leads collected from your G2 profile. This option is only available for G2 customers on a Core subscription. To learn about performance metrics and reporting, refer to the [Performance](/docs/monty-for-sales#performance) section. ### Payment and billing AI Sales Agent follows a pay-per-chat pricing model. A chat is considered chargeable when a buyer sends at least two messages in chat, or if they take a next step, such as clicking a link or booking a demo. The price of a chat is benchmarked using [SEMRush](https://www.semrush.com/) industry standards for PPC (pay-per-click) advertising on your product's main G2 category. You can access the price per chat for your product from the [Manage Plan tab on the AI Sales Agent page](https://my.g2.com/~/product_chat_config/manage). G2 offers two payment options for AI Sales Agent: - **Pay-as-you-go**: A subscriptionless, pay-per-chat offering. You will be invoiced based on usage and charged monthly. Invoices will be processed on the 2nd of the following month. - **Bulk pricing**: Purchase chats in bulk to receive a significantly discounted price per chat. For more information on bulk pricing options, please [contact G2](mailto:contactlabs@g2.com). G2 customers on a Core annual plan automatically receive $250 in free chat credits to trial AI Sales Agent. You may disable AI Sales Agent whenever you'd like, and your payment method will not be charged until your free credits have been used. ### Training content AI Sales Agent learns how to sell your software based on your organization's content. Refer to the [Add content](/docs/monty-for-sales#add-content) section for more information. G2 recommends providing 10-20 pieces of content to train your AI Sales Agent effectively, including: - *Transcripts* of your top sales calls and webinars, which can be downloaded directly from call recording platforms such as Gong or Zoom. - *Objection handling* and *battle cards* that describe how your product should be positioned against competitors. - *Case studies* and customer proof that demonstrate ROI. - *Pricing and packaging* details. - *Sales enablement* content used to onboard new sales representatives at your organization. - *Documentation* that answers frequently asked questions about your product's functionality. You should think of AI Sales Agent as a member of your Sales team and use the same content that you use to train human representatives to sell your product. ## Implementation It takes approximately 20 minutes to set up AI Sales Agent for use on your G2 profile or website. ### 1. Add content Add content to teach AI Sales Agent how to sell your product. Go to [my.G2](https://my.g2.com/g2-seller-solutions/product_chat_config), then **Product Information** > **AI Sales Agent**. 2. (Optional) Select **Import Content from G2 Profile** to automatically import the features, pricing and packaging, and downloads from your G2 profile. 3. Add supplemental content by dragging and dropping files from your device directly into the *Files* section, or pasting a list of URLs into the *Website Content* section. Each URL must be on a new line. 4. Select **Add Content**. G2 queues each piece of content for processing and automatically assigns a content type. ## 2. Preview AI Sales Agent Once you've uploaded some content, you can begin testing AI Sales Agent directly from the AI Sales Agent page by selecting **Test AI Sales Agent**. ![Select preview to begin a chat with AI Sales Agent.](https://documentation-g2-com-images.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/monty-for-sales-preview-chat.png) AI Sales Agent answers questions based on the content you provide. If AI Sales Agent answers incorrectly, try supplementing or adjusting the content you uploaded in [the previous step](/docs/monty-for-sales#1-add-content) with targeted content. ## 3. (Optional) Customize AI Sales Agent The *Customization* tab enables you to customize AI Sales Agent to match your organization's branding, set your preferred conversion method, and target buyers in your ideal customer profile (ICP). ![Customization tab preview](https://documentation-g2-com-images.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/monty-for-sales-customization-tab-preview.png) G2 offers the following customization options: - *Agent*: Set a custom name and avatar for your chatbot. - *Conversion*: Choose your preferred conversion method. For more information, refer to the [Conversion and performance](/docs/monty-for-sales#conversion-and-performance) section. - *Qualifying Questions*: Require buyers to answer a first layer of questions to qualify them for a conversation with AI Sales Agent. You will only be charged for conversations that use a *Response* type of **AI**. For example, you might choose to offer a preset response for your current customers who need support. - *Targeting*: Only display the widget on your website for buyers in a specific geolocation. After customizing AI Sales Agent, select **Save** to apply your changes. Activate AI Sales Agent on your G2 profile You can activate AI Sales Agent for your website or G2 profile from the [**Settings**](https://my.g2.com/~/product_chat_config/manage) tab. ![The Manage Plan tab preview](https://documentation-g2-com-images.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/monty-for-sales-manage-plan.png) To activate AI Sales Agent: 1. (Optional) In the *Limits* section, enter a soft and hard limit to cap your monthly spend. When your soft limit has been reached, you'll receive an email notification. When your hard limit has been reached, AI Sales Agent will be disabled for the remainder of the month. 2. In the *Payment Method* panel, enter a credit card. 3. Accept G2's AI terms and conditions. 4. To activate AI Sales Agent on your G2 profile, set the *G2 profile* slider to **ON**. 5. To activate AI Sales Agent on your website, copy your embed from the *Embed AI Sales Agent on your website* container. For detailed instructions, refer to the [following section](/docs/monty-for-sales#adding-AI-Sales-Agent-for-sales-to-your-website). ### Adding AI Sales Agent to your website To add AI Sales Agent to your website, navigate to the [**Settings**](https://my.g2.com/~/product_chat_config/manage) tab, then copy your embed code from the *Embed AI Sales Agent on your website* container. ![Copy embed code container in Settings tab](https://documentation-g2-com-images.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/monty-for-sales-copy-embed-code.png) To copy your embed code, you must have entered a *Payment Method* and accepted G2's AI terms. The chat widget will appear on each page where the embed code is injected. To add it to all pages, add the embed code to the `<head>` of your website via a CMS, or using Google Tag Manager. #### Example: Adding AI Sales Agent to your website via Google Tag Manager 1. Log in to [Google Tag Manager](https://tagmanager.google.com/), then select the container associated with your website. 2. Navigate to **Workspace** > **Tags**, then select **New**. 3. Select the **Tag Configuration** panel to reveal the *Choose tag type* sidebar. 4. Select **Custom HTML**, then paste your embed code into the text box provided. 5. Assign triggers by selecting the **Triggering** panel. G2 recommends firing the tag on *All Pages (Page View)* by default. 6. Name your tag, then select **Save**. 7. **Submit** and **Publish** the changes to your Google Tag Manager container to apply AI Sales Agent to your website.
