Tasks in Salesforce are essentially to-do items. Tasks can be assigned to individual Salesforce users to ensure that they follow up on certain action items. However, this ability does not extend to the G2 data that is being delivered to your organization’s Salesforce environment. For example, G2 data being auto-mapped to a Salesforce account does not trigger a standard Salesforce task.

Instead, to set up G2-related Salesforce tasks, utilize Salesforce’s Process Builder to create custom tasks. These custom processes are not included as part of the G2 CRM Connector.

G2 has provided an example Salesforce task that can be built according to the provided instructions, and can be used to inspire the creation of other custom tasks.
