Instead of qualifying a lead and handing it to you to follow up, an advisor attempts to schedule the pitch call or demo directly on your team's behalf. If the buyer doesn't want to schedule or can't agree on a time, G2 sends you the lead without an appointment. G2 charges a 50% premium on the lead fee for each scheduled appointment. If the buyer cancels or doesn't attend, G2 refunds the appointment premium. ## Enroll in Appointment Scheduling 1. Go to my.G2, then navigate to **Verified Leads** > **Appointment Scheduling**. 2. If you have more than one Verified Leads campaign live, select the campaign you want to enroll. 3. If you have more than one Verified Leads product live, select the product you want to enroll. 4. Turn on **Appointment Scheduling** and accept the terms. 5. Choose a scheduling method under the **G2 Calendar** or **Chili Piper** tab. ## Set up G2 Calendar scheduling Complete the **G2 Calendar** tab's form, then select **Activate**: - Under **Scheduling Information**: - **Booking Notice**: The minimum notice you want before an upcoming appointment. Choose 24 or 48 hours. - **Duration**: The appointment length. Choose 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. - **Appointment Type**: The type of appointment your team wants to conduct. Choose **Web Demo**, **Discovery Call**, or **Either Web or Discovery Call**. - **Total concurrent meetings**: The number of concurrent meetings your team can manage in a given time slot. G2 schedules a maximum of 3 concurrent meetings, depending on what you select. - Under **Availability**: - **Select Your Timezone**: The time zone your sales team operates in. - **Days**, **From**, and **To**: The days and hours you're available for appointments. Select **+ Add New Timeframe** to add another day or time block. To connect your own calendar instead, use the **Chili Piper** tab. Your pre-configuration is complete once: - You've accepted the Appointment Scheduling terms. - You've configured your selected scheduling option. - Your appointment type, availability, and booking settings are correct. - Your Chili Piper calendar is connected, if you selected Chili Piper. ## Generate a Chili Piper API token You need a Chili Piper account to complete this integration. If you don't already have an API token: 1. Sign in to your Chili Piper workspace as an administrator. 2. Open **Command Center**, then select **Integrations**. 3. Open **API Access Tokens**. 4. Select **Generate Token**, enter a name for the token, and select **Next**. 5. Select **Generate**, then copy and securely store the token. Chili Piper only displays the token once. If you lose it, you need to generate a new one. ## Connect Chili Piper in my.G2 1. Go to my.G2, then navigate to **Verified Leads** > **Appointment Scheduling**. 2. Select the **Chili Piper** tab. 3. Enter your Chili Piper account. 4. Leave **Router** blank to use the quick setup flow, which creates the required flow for you automatically. Only enter a router if you need to use an existing one. 5. If the issue continues, contact your G2 representative with your product name and the error message. Don't share your API token.
