Deactivating your G2 account

If you'd like to deactivate your G2 account, you have a few privacy options to consider first.

Before you deactivate:

Want fewer emails?
To unsubscribe from all marketing communications, go to Privacy settings, then select Manage Email Subscriptions and select Opt me out of all emails from G2.com.

Concerned about privacy?
You can post your reviews anonymously. Just toggle anonymity when submitting a review.

To deactivate your account:

  1. Navigate to your Account Settings.
  2. In the Deactivate Account panel, select Deactivate.

Once deactivated:

  • Your name will be removed from any public content.
  • Your account will be disabled.
  • You will still receive transactional emails (e.g., about rewards or moderation).

Users in the EU can also request data deletion by emailing privacy@g2.com.
