Article Summary

This section details how to add G2 related lists to Salesforce Account page layouts. If a related list should be added to multiple page layouts, repeat the steps for each individual page layout.

Available G2 Related Lists

Only the following G2 related lists can be placed in Account page layouts:

  • G2 Events
  • G2 Event Aggregates
  • G2 Reviews
  • G2 Visiting Organizations

Each related list can only be used once per individual page layout.

Salesforce Classic instructions

  1. At the top-right portion of any Salesforce page, select Setup.
  2. On the left-hand side of the setup page, go to the Build section and select Customize > Accounts > Page Layouts.
  3. Find the page layout that the G2 related list will be added to and select Edit.
  4. In the top navigation area, scroll down and select Related Lists.
  5. Select and drag the desired G2 related list to the Related Lists section of the page layout.
  6. With the related list in place, select the wrench icon on the gray bar of the Related Lists section header.
  7. On the Related List Properties pop-up, you can change the columns of information that will display for the related list. To do so, highlight column options in the Available Fields sections and select Add, or highlight items in the Selected Fields section and select Remove. Once finished, select OK to continue.
  8. At the top navigation area, select Save.

Salesforce Lightning instructions

  1. At the top-right portion of any Salesforce page, select the lightning bolt/nut icon and then select Setup.
  2. On the left-hand side of the setup page, go to the Platform Tools section and select Objects and Fields > Object Manager.
  3. On the Object Manager page in the Label column, select the Account object.
  4. Next, select Page Layouts on the left-hand side menu, and then find and select the page layout that the G2 related list will be added to.
  5. In the top navigation area, scroll down and select Related Lists.
  6. Next, select and drag the desired G2 related list to the Related Lists section of the page layout.
  7. With the related list in place, select the wrench icon on the gray bar of the Related Lists section header.
  8. On the Related List Properties pop-up, you can change the columns of information that will display for the related list. To do so, highlight column options in the Available Fields sections and select Add, or highlight items in the Selected Fields section and select Remove. Once finished, select OK to continue.
  9. At the top navigation area, select Save.
