Here’s what to expect after submitting a review on G2.
1: Your review enters moderation
Once submitted, your review enters a moderation queue for manual review. This process helps ensure all reviews meet our quality and authenticity standards.
- Moderation typically takes up to 3 full working business days.
- During this time, you can view your review in the My Reviews section of your G2 user account, but your review is not visible to anyone on G2.com.
2: Review outcome
Once moderation is complete, your review will be either:
- Approved and published to the site.
- Rejected with an email explaining the reason.
3: Notifications
After your review is moderated, you'll receive an email letting you know your review was moderated.
Navigate to My Reviews to confirm publication status.
Approved reviews will have edit and share icons.
Rejected reviews will have Action Required or Review Not Approved messaging.
You can log into your G2 user profile at any time to check your review status.
If your review was part of a gift card campaign, your reward will be sent after the review passes moderation and is approved.
