Understanding review statuses and timelines

Each review goes through multiple stages before it appears on G2.

Awaiting moderation

If you have just submitted a review, it will appear as Awaiting Moderation in your G2 profile. Moderation can take up to 3 business days to complete.

After submission, you will see a Success! message with next steps:

Moderation — Reviews undergo quality checks that may take up to 3 business days. You can edit your review during this time by selecting Update my Review.

Incentives (if applicable) — If your review qualifies for an incentive, the reward is sent within 1–2 business days after approval. You can also track reward status in the Rewards section of your G2 account.

Publishing — Once approved, your review is published on the site. You will receive an email notification, and you can always check the status of your review and incentive in your G2 account.

Approved

Once your review is approved:

• It will be published to G2.com.
• You will receive a confirmation email.
• You will be able to share the review from your profile.

Rejected

If your review is rejected:

• You will receive an email explaining the rejection reason.
• You can log in to your G2 account to view the rejection reason in the Reviews section.
• In most cases, you can update your review and resubmit it for consideration.
