G2 continues to expand structured content, AI evaluation, and data integrations across the platform. These updates focus on improving how buyers discover products, increasing trust in review data, and providing more actionable insights for evaluating vendors.

April 2026

This month’s release includes updates to Buyer Intent workflows, onboarding and collaboration, and the review experience. These changes focus on improving visibility into account activity, reducing friction for reviewers, and helping teams take action more efficiently within G2.

Updated Buyer Intent dashboard

The Buyer Intent dashboard now includes an Activity Feed that surfaces the 10 most recent signals for each account with line-item detail. This provides clearer visibility into what is driving intent at the account level.

Audience Builder (beta)

Audience builder is now available in beta, enabling you to create and target audiences within G2 using buyer intent and engagement signals.

New user welcome experience

New users are now guided through a streamlined onboarding modal that captures role and goal information. This enables a more personalized experience from the start.

Activation checklist

A new in-product checklist guides users through key setup steps. This helps users complete initial configuration and reach value faster.

Invite teammate

Users can now invite teammates directly within the product. This simplifies collaboration and makes it easier to expand access across teams.

Review Rally

Review Rally introduces team-based competitions in my.G2 to drive review generation. Users can create contests, assign unique review links, and track progress through a leaderboard.

Guided review experience

The review flow now presents one question at a time to reduce friction during submission. A sidebar provides real-time suggestions to help reviewers write more complete feedback, improving review quality.

AI-powered review recommendations

My.G2 now provides AI-powered recommendations to help identify the next best action to improve review performance. Recommendations are based on product signals and competitive insights.

Primary category updates in my.G2

Vendors can now update their primary category directly within my.G2, as long as the category is already associated with their product. This reduces reliance on support and speeds up profile management.

Plain-text profile editing

Sellers can now edit their G2 profile directly from the public-facing profile page. This provides immediate visibility into changes and removes the need to manage updates through the my.G2 admin interface.

G2 MCP for HubSpot

G2 buyer intent and verified review data can now be accessed in HubSpot through MCP integration with Breeze Agents. This enables teams to understand prospect activity and take action directly within HubSpot. Visit HubSpot Marketplace.

Conversion tracking for G2 ads

A new tracking pixel allows advertisers to measure conversions from G2-driven traffic by adding a snippet to their landing pages. This provides visibility into post-click performance and campaign effectiveness.

Focused feature list

Feature lists are now identified from what reviewers write, replacing manual selection from predefined lists. This reduces effort during review submission and captures feature data using the reviewer’s own language.

SaaS spend and pricing data

Expanded data coverage now provides deeper visibility into SaaS spend, pricing benchmarks, and discount trends. This helps customers analyze purchasing activity alongside G2 buyer behavior data.

Verified reviews with LinkedIn

LinkedIn identity verification is now supported during review submission. Verified reviews strengthen trust signals, improve moderation quality, and increase the reliability of data used in rankings and AI-generated outputs.
